Nirav brings a wealth of experience in physical therapy to our team. He graduated from Mangalore University in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy. He has since worked in a variety of settings including chronic care and acute care facilities specializing in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation both here in Canada and abroad. Nirav is also a certified K - Taping Therapist. K - Taping is a unique form of care that uses adhesive strips to protect, stabilize and heal injured tissues.
Sue has been a Registered Massage Therapist with our clinic since 2007. She is a graduate of CDI College and a member of both the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario. She has previous training in healthcare and continues to expand her knowledge and further her education on advanced massage techniques. Sue is experienced in treating clients with a variety of health concerns and is appreciated by clients seeking both deeper treatments and relaxation treatments. Some conditions Sue specializes in treating are: headaches, back pain, sprains/strains, motor vehicle accidents, anxiety/stress and pregnancy aches and pains.
Before studying massage therapy, Terryn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Brock University, where she realized her passion for massage and how it can benefit a person's overall physical health and emotional well-being. Terryn then graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto where she was able to complete her massage program in one year due to her previous education and accomplishments in Kinesiology. Her massage studies focused on repetitive strain injuries, myofascial release techniques, pregnancy and sports massage, as well as many outreach clinics for those with chronic pelvic pain and multiple sclerosis.
Monica Shields graduated from CDI HamiltonMountain campus and has been practicing for 6 years. Monica thoroughly enjoys helping her clients achieve their massage therapy goals whether it's relaxation, recovery from injury or muscle strain. Continuing education is a priority and therefore Monica has added techniques including hot stone massage, thai massage, myofascial and deep tissue massage to her massage therapy skill set. Monica is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario. In addition to massage, Monica enjoys country life, her family and traveling.
